For the sake of clarification, I want to point out that BoI (the Bank of Israel) always speaks in terms of the interbank lending rate. The prime rate is 1.5% more than that rate. All of the numbers used here are the rates as published by BoI. While you were busy preparing for the festivals, The Bank of Israel published its monthly decision on the official interbank interest rate for the month of October and its expectations moving forward.
